Planchonia careya (F.Muell.) R. Knuth
Cocky Apple
A common tree in Northern Australia. It flowers at night and the  heavily scented flowers fall to the ground in the morning. The fruit are eaten by cockatoos.
This species was collected by Banks and Solander at Cape Grafton in 1770.
